Educational Outcomes Awards – Children’s Progress and Closing the Gap 2015
Congratulations St. Luke’s Learners.
St Luke’s has been awarded the Educational Outcomes Award for ‘Children’s Progress’ for the second year running, placing the school in the top 10% of schools. The school has also been awarded the Educational Outcomes Award for ‘Closing the Gap’ between the disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged children.
Both these awards are important as they allow us to benchmark the school’s performance against other schools in the country. Well done to all of the staff who have worked so incredibly hard, the learners themselves and to their parents for supporting their learning.
Educational Outcomes Awards – 2014
St. Luke’s received a national award for ‘closing the gap’. SSAT collates and analyses data from the DfE and Ofsted.
Their analysis shows that St. Luke’s School has enabled children to achieve attainment in reading, writing and mathematics that is significantly higher than the national average at Key Stage 2 and includes higher than average added value (progress from KS1 to KS2).
This achievement puts St. Luke’s in the top 10% of schools nationally.
