Cluster Football – Winners!

Players in the Girls’ and Boys’ football teams participated in the Windmill Cluster Football competition yesterday.  The Windmill Cluster is a partnership of 11 schools around Brixton, London Borough of Lambeth, working together to secure outstanding educational achievement and opportunities in order to enhance the life chances of our pupils.

At St Luke’s, football is important to the school and we use our Sports Grant to fund our participation in the Southwark & Lambeth Primary School League and to fund 2 football after school clubs with Premier Education (our current football team, as well as pupils in Years 2 & 3).  Our school football team is a mixed team (one of the few in the league).  We are also pleased that Girls United hold weekly sessions with our female pupils.
