Children’s Book Project – Bookshop in a Box

In October, our learners were very exited to select a book from the Pop Up Book Hut which was loaned to us by the Childrens Book Project were provided for all our learners from nursery to Year 6.

The Children’s Book Project believes ‘in the empowering impact of book ownership’ and gift books to children to ‘widening reading community and helping all to dream!’

This time, they supplied our school with a ‘Bookshop in a box’ and all our children were able to select a book each to keep and a book mark.  For some children it was a quick decision and others took longer to choose!  One child was very pleased to find ‘Have sword will travel’ which we have been reading weekly in Reading Club.
