Admissions Process

Applying for an in-Year place?

If you are looking for a school space for your child (Reception to Year 6), parents need to apply directly to St Luke’s School. As a school within the SDBEMAT, the school deals with admissions directly, instead of applying through Lambeth Admissions. Dealing directly with the school in this way is a much quicker process than maintained schools.

Applying for a Nursery place starting in September 2023?

We are delighted to announce that St Luke’s has been given approval to lower the school age to 3 years, therefore we have part-time and full-time places available. Pupils start nursery the term after they turn 3 years old.

Applying for a Reception place for my child starting in September 2024?

Children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 will start Reception class in September 2024.

The e-admission portal opened on 1 September 2023 and will close around 15 January 2024.

If you are applying for a Church place, you will also need to complete our Supplementary Information Form (SIF) and Clergy Form, which will need to be returned to the SCHOOL by 15 January 2024.

Choosing your child’s school is an important decision.  At St Luke’s C of E we aim to make this process as easy as possible by giving you all the information you will need to help you select the right school for your child.

If you would like to know more about our school or have any questions please don’t hesitate to ring us, we welcome your phone calls and look forward to hearing from you.
